HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS
A driver with GO Airport Shuttle and Executive Car Service is an independent contractor who operates his/her own business. You need basic knowledge of the Tri County area and the ability to operate a GPS and read a map. The driver can work whatever hours he chooses to work. The driver picks up fares at the airport, at the seaport, at hotels and can also accept calls through our computer dispatch system. The driver pays for the use of the vehicle (contract cost) before he gets the vehicle: the cost range from $550 per week for a double shift vehicle and $800 for a single shift vehicle plus $0.25 cents per mile driven over 1500 hundred miles per week plus gas. The drivers make their money from the fares and tips collected from their passengers. For instance, if a driver collected a total of $1550 and paid $825 in the vehicle contract and gas fees, the drivers’ take home profit for the week would be $725.
